An easy and quick canola pad thai recipe.Pad Thai is Thailands National dish and likely the most popular order at the majority of Thai restaurants here in the U.S.It is a noodle stir fry dish traditionally made up of rice noodles, shrimp, tofu, eggs and a deeply flavored, sweet and sour sauce. The sauce is usually consists of ingredients such as fish sauce, tamarind paste, dried shrimp and palm sugar.

Ingredients for Chicken Pad Thai Recipe

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 450 gram chicken breasts sliced very thinly
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 3 No.s Egg
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 0.33 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 3 No.s carrots julienned
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
  • 2 No.s green onions chopped
  • 1 No.s lime cut into wedges

Directions: Chicken Pad Thai Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Add the noodles to boiling water for 2 minutes and let it cook.

step 2

  • STEP 1.2 toss the chicken in soy sauce.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add canola oil to the wok and heat it. Add the chicken. Cook for 1-2 minutes on sides and then separate. Add eggs to hot oil and add vegetables and saute,cook the pieces.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add soften noodles, rice vinegar, fish, sugar and  red pepper. Serve with sprouts, carrots, green onions, and lime wedges.
