Traditional cantonese dish that uses long egg noodles as its base.Lo Mein is a fantastic Chinese takeout option if you’re looking for something a bit thicker than the traditional Chow Mein.Lo Mein sauce is made with a sesame oil base that the noodles are tossed in with garlic, ginger, oyster sauce and soy sauce to round out the slightly sweet and slightly spicy sacuce.

Ingredients for Chicken Lo Mein Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Hoisin
  • 1 tablespoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 400 gram Chicken skinless and boneless
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 no. minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • As required Lo mein
  • 1 cup Veggies
  • 1 No.s Egg noodles pack
  • 1 cup Green Onions

Directions: Chicken Lo Mein Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil the noodles according to package instructions. Whisk all the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside.

  • STEP 1.In a medium bowl toss the chicken, with ginger, garlic and soy sauce. Heat some oil in a large wok and stir the chicken pieces in it.

  • STEP 1.Stir the chicken well and allow it to brown for 5 minutes or until its brown. Remove from the heat and set aside don

  • STEP 1.T overcook the chicken.

  • STEP 1.Add more oil and saute the veggies till they soften stirring regularly. Add the chicken back to wok along with the cooked noodles and prepared sauce. Toss everything together. Garnish with green onions and serve steaming hot.
