  • 250 gm Chicken pieces
  • 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tbsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp Beaten curd
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1.50 Pieces green chilli
  • 1/2 pieces Onion
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 3 Pieces Garlic
  • 2 Pieces Cashew
  • 2 Pieces Cloves
  • 1 Pieces green cardamom
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leave
  • 1/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 3 Pieces Black pepper
  • 1/2 Pieces Mace (Javitri)
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/4 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1/2 tbsp Kasuri methi
  • to taste Salt
  • as required water

Directions: Chicken Lababdar #ChickenRecipes #FEM5K

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl to add chicken, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, beaten curd, salt and mix it.
  • STEP 2.Leave it for marination (minimum one hour).
  • STEP 3.In boiling water add onion, ginger, garlic, green chili, cashew nuts, and cook it. After 5 minutes drain it and leave it to cool (room temperature).
  • STEP 4.Now make a paste of it and keep it aside.
  • STEP 5.Take a pot to add oil, cloves, green cardamom, bay leave, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, black pepper, mace, and stir it.
  • STEP 6.Now add boiled ginger garlic & onion paste and cook it till golden brown or oil separates.
  • STEP 7.Add coriander powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala, tomato puree, and continuously stir it.
  • STEP 8.Cook it 2-3 minutes or till oil separates.
  • STEP 9.Now add marinated chicken and stir it for 3-4 minutes and then add water.
  • STEP 10.Put the led on it on medium-low flame for approx 15 minutes or till cooked.
  • STEP 11.After this add fresh cream, roasted Kasuri methi crushed, and stir it for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 12.Now your chicken lababdar is ready.
