Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies for tempering.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
  • STEP 4.Add marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are browned.
  • STEP 5.In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt, besan (gram flour), turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 6.Add the yogurt mixture to the pan and cook on low heat until the chicken is cooked through and the gravy thickens.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
