The recipe uses minimal ingredients and can be made in less time too. The heavy cream is the primary ingredient in making the texture silky smooth and creamy. Moreover, the parsley and garlic cloves make for an aromatic and flavourful sauce altogether. You can serve this dish as it is or with rice on the side for a complete dish.

Ingredients for Chicken In White Sauce Recipe

  • 5-6 Nos chicken thighs
  • 1 Nos medium onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white/black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 sprig Parsley

Steps To Prepare

  • STEP 1.Marinate chicken with ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp of white/black pepper.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat cooking pot at a medium flame. Place the chicken in the pot and cook it for 7 mins and then flip it and cook for about 5 mins.
  • STEP 2.Once cooked, take it out from the pot.
  • STEP 3.Using the same pot, add butter and melt it. Now add onion, garlic and saute it.
  • STEP 4.Next, add the flour and cook it for a minute with continuous stirring.
  • STEP 5.Add 2 cups of water and stir it, then add chicken bouillon powder and the remaining white/black pepper.
  • STEP 6.
  • STEP 7.Now add chicken and cook it for 5 minutes with the lid on.
  • STEP 8.Lastly, add the cream and cook it for 3 mins at low flame, Garnish with chopped parsley and then turn off the flame.
