This chicken curry recipe is one such lip-smacking dish to be relished any time of the day. Ingredients for Chicken Coconut Curry Recipe

  • 1.50 pound chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1.50 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1.50 cup Vegetables
  • 6-10 Nos basil leaves

Steps To Prepare

  • STEP 1.Cut chicken into thin strips and Sprinkle ½ tsp curry powder,¼ tsp ginger,¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp white pepper. Now mix all the ingredients with clean hands and keep it aside.

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Add oil to a pot & heat it.
  • STEP 2.Then add the chicken and cook it evenly from both sides.
  • STEP 3.Once chicken is cooked, transfer it to a plate.
  • STEP 4.In the same pot, add onions and saute them for a minute. Now add tomato paste and mix it well with the onions
  • STEP 5.Add minced garlic & ginger and Add 1 ½ cup of water followed by curry powder, chicken bouillon powder and salt as per taste.
  • STEP 6.Lastly, add chicken and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Add coconut milk along with white pepper and cook it at low flame.
  • STEP 8.Sprinkle some basil leaves cook it for a while then turn off the flame.
