Ingredients for Chicken Changezi Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 100 gram Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoon fry Ginger garlic paste
  • 4 medium sized tomatoes Add tomato paste
  • 12 Cashew Nuts
  • 12 Almonds
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 medium sized sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chat masala
  • 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoon fenugreek leaves
  • As required Coriander leaves
  • 3 green chilies
  • 3 tablespoon Milk cream

Directions: Chicken Changezi Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.For marinating the chicken in a mixing bowl add the chicken pieces along with that add the red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, 1tsp salt, turmeric powder, yogurt, lemon juice and mix well, coat the chicken well with the mixture and marinate it for 30mins-1hr.

step 2

  • STEP 2.In a pan, add 4tbsp clarified butter then add the sliced onions, cashews nuts, almonds, fry them well until light brown and the aroma is released. Turn off the flame and let it cool. Then in a blender add the mixture and 1 cup milk, blend and keep the paste aside.

  • STEP 3.In a cooking pan add butter and add the marinated chicken, let the chicken cook until it’s tender and almost 80% cooked. Take out the chicken and the excess paste.

  • STEP 4.Add some more oil along with that add the onions and fry them until the color changes, then add the ginger-garlic paste and fry them until the raw smell goes.

  • STEP 5.Now add the tomato cubes and fry them until cooked properly. Time to add the spices- coriander powder, chat masala, kashmiri red chili powder, and roast them until oil starts separating.

  • STEP 6.Add the onion-milk paste and mix well then add the fresh milk cream and mix them well.

step 7

  • STEP 7.Now add the fried chicken and mix well. Add the fenugreek leaves, a few coriander leaves, green chilies and mix well. Add some water and let it simmer uncovered until the chicken cooks fully.

  • STEP 8.And your chicken changezi is ready to serve.
