  • 0.13 teaspoon Saffron Strands Soaked In Tablespoons Warm Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden brown. Remove half of the fried onions and set aside for garnishing.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add the marinated chicken and cook until it is tender. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pot, boil water and add whole spices, salt, and soaked basmati rice. Cook the rice until it is 70% done.
  • STEP 5.Layer the partially cooked rice over the chicken in the pan. Sprinkle saffron milk and ghee over the rice.
  • STEP 6.Cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fried onions and fresh coriander before serving.
