Ingredients for Chicharron Recipe

  • 1/5 kilogram pork skin
  • 0.30 tablespoon Salt
  • 1/10 tablespoon chicken powder

Directions: Chicharron Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 remove the fur and fat from the skin and clean it thoroughly.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 once cleaned, boil the skin with 1 tbsp salt.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 cover with a lid and cook it for 30 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 once cooked wash it with some cold water and drain well.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 slice it into small pieces.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 take the chopped pork skin in a bowl and add chicken powder and salt to it.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 mix it well.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 let it rest for 2 hours.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 dry it in the sun for 2-3 days.

step 10

  • STEP 10.10 heat some oil in a pan and fry the pork until it turns light brown and your chincharron is ready to be served.
