Chhyachra is a flavourful mix vegetable dish prepared with a handful of ingredients which can be prepared for lunch or dinner and served with some plain steamed rice.
STEP 1.Marinate the fish head with turmeric powder and salt
STEP 2.Wash the leaves of malabar spinach, remove the outer fiber from the stem, cut it and wash throughly.
STEP 3.Cook the spinach in a pan with salt and set aside
STEP 4.Fry the marinated fish heads and set aside. Fry the sliced onions next until they are golden and set aside
STEP 5.Put oil in a pan and add dried red chilies, bay leaves and panch phoran
STEP 6.Add the potatoes, spinach stem and the jackfruit seeds and rest of the veetble. Cover and cook until they are done.
STEP 7.Add turmeric powder,cumin powder,red chili powder, salt,green chilies and brinjals
STEP 8.Add the cooked spinach leaves, fried fish, onions, ghee and mix well.
