  • 1.33 cup Milk
  • 0.17 cup Rice
  • 0.17 cup Sugar

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and pit the cherries, then blend them into a smooth puree.
  • STEP 2.In a saucepan, heat milk and bring it to a boil. Add rice and cook until it becomes soft and mushy.
  • STEP 3.Add the cherry puree and sugar to the milk-rice mixture. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Remove from heat and let it cool. Serve chilled in bowls or glasses.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with chopped cherries and slivered almonds before serving.
