For the batter, begin by measuring all the ingredients like flour, baking powder etc.
Cooking Directions
Take a bowl, add ¾ cup of gram flour, ¼ cup of plain flour, ¾ tsp baking powder and salt to taste. Mix all the dry ingredients generously.
Add a few chopped onions and green chilies (as per your preference). Then start by adding water, little at a time, to make a thin batter out of it (1.5 to 2 glasses of water approx.)
For the cheese omlette, start by taking a pan. Add to that, 2 tbsp butter and let it melt.
Once it becomes hot and bubbly, add ½ ladle of the batter made earlier. Try to spread the batter evenly from all sides (don’t try to spread by spoon or ladle).
Add 2 slices of cheese and one slice of bread over the cheese. Spread a little of the batter on top of the bread.
Sprinkle some coriander leaves and chili flakes on top.
Shake the pan to ensure the omlette isn’t stuck on the pan. Then you can add another bread slice on the other cheese and spread the batter accordingly.
Flip it and let the bread get cooked as well. Cook it on high flame for 1min.
Storage And Serving Method
Serve the cheesy omlette bread once it is toasted well from both sides. Pair it with tomato ketchup.
