Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil and mash the potatoes. Add chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, and spices like turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  • STEP 2.Take two slices of bread and spread butter on one side of each slice.
  • STEP 3.Spread the potato mixture evenly on one slice of bread. Top it with grated cheese and cover it with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
  • STEP 4.Heat a sandwich maker or a griddle pan. Place the sandwich on it and cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Remove from heat and cut the sandwich into halves or quarters. Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
