  • 1 Curry leaves stem
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • As required Salt
  • 2 cup Chopped Spinach leaves
  • 2 No.s Green chilly
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup Grated coconut

How to Make Cheera Thoran Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

In a pan pour in 2 tbsp. Add ½ tsp of mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.

STEP 01

Add 1 whole chopped onion 2 green chillies split in half. Saute till the onion becomes tender.

STEP 01

Then add 1 stem of plucked curry leaves and 2 cups of chopped spinach leaves. Mix well.

STEP 01

Add a pinch of salt and ½ tsp turmeric powder.

STEP 01

Cook on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes with the lid on.

STEP 01

Add ½ cup of grated coconut and stir well.

STEP 01

Again cook with the lid on for 1-2 minutes on medium flame. Turn off and serve hot.
