Charnamrit, or Panchamrit, is a sweet drink made up of five things; hence it is called 'Panchamrit'. 'Panch' is a Sanskrit word, which means five and 'amrit' means elixir.

Ingredients for Charanamrit Recipe

  • 1/4 cup ½ cup
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 1/2 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 tbsp tbsp Mishri
  • 1/2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Ganga Jal optional
  • 1/2 tsp Kismish
  • A Pinch Pinch of cardamom powder

Directions: Charanamrit Recipe

  • STEP 1.. In a mixing bowl add milk, curd,
  • STEP 2.Mishri, honey, ghee and ganga jal.
  • STEP 3.2. Mix nicely.
  • STEP 4.3. If adding nuts then coarsely crush and add
  • STEP 5.it to the mixture.
  • STEP 6.4. Keep it in clean cool place or refrigerate it
  • STEP 7.before serving or using it in pooja.
