Ingredients for Changezi Chicken Recipe

  • 750 piece gram chicken
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2.50 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 6 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 No.s sliced onion
  • 8-10 No.s Cashews
  • 1 No.s bay leaf
  • 1 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 No.s green cardamoms
  • 1 No.s black cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon chicken masala
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 2-3 No.s chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 2 tablespoon fresh cream

Directions: Changezi Chicken Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl take chicken and add some yogurt, ginger garlic pate, lemon juice, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and mix everything well and keep it aside for 30 minutes to marinate.

  • STEP 1.Heat a pan and add oil, sliced onions, cashews, salt. Roast everything and take it out in a bowl

  • STEP 1.Take this tadka in a blender and blend with a little amount of water.

  • STEP 1.Heat some oil in a pan and roast your chicken for 3-4 minutes until it turns light brown.

  • STEP 1.Heat 2 tbps of oil in a pan and add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, green cardamoms, black cardamom and saute it.

  • STEP 1.Add the prepared onion cashew paste in it with a dash of water, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and roast it lightly.

  • STEP 1.Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and chicken masala..

  • STEP 1.Roast it for 30 seconds and add tomato puree and chopped red chillies.

  • STEP 1.Mix everything well and let it cook for about 5 minutes.

  • STEP 1.Now add chicken and milk to the pan and mix well.

  • STEP 1.Add ½ cup water. Cover and cook for 7-10 minutes.

step 12

  • STEP 1.Finally add fenugreek powder, chat masala and fresh cream.

step 13

  • STEP 1.Give it a stir and cook for another 30 seconds and your changezi chicken is ready to be served.
