Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large pot, bring milk to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
  • STEP 2.Add the freshly made cottage cheese (chanar) to the milk and stir well.
  • STEP 3.Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the cottage cheese becomes soft and the milk thickens.
  • STEP 4.Add sugar and cardamom powder to the pot and mix well until the sugar dissolves.
  • STEP 5.Remove from heat and let it cool down to room temperature.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds.
  • STEP 7.Refrigerate for a few hours before serving chilled.
