- 0.08 cup chana dal/ split Bengal gram
- 1/25 cup chopped onions
- 1/25 teaspoon ginger paste
- 0.17 tablespoon chopped coriander
- 0.08 tablespoon chopped curry leaves

How to Make Chana Dal Vada Recipe

STEP 01
Clean, wash and soak the chana dal in a bowl of water for 2 hours.

STEP 01
Remove ¼ cup of soaked and drained chana dal in a bowl and keep blend the remaining chana dal in a mixer to a coarse mixture without using any water.

Transfer the mixture into another bowl and add the remaining ingredients, including the soaked and drained chana dal and mix everything well.

Divide the mixture into 17 equal parts and shape and make flat vadas.

STEP 01
Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry, a few vadas at a time on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
