About Champurrado Recipe:
A mexican recipe of chocolate and cinnamon. Champurrado is a chocolate-based atole, a warm and thick Mexican beverage, prepared with either masa de maíz (lime-treated corn dough), masa harina (a dried version of this dough), or corn flour (simply very finely ground dried corn, especially local varieties grown for atole); piloncillo; water or milk.

How to Make Champurrado Recipe

STEP 01
Place 6 cups of water in a large pot and add cinnamon sticks.

Bring to boil and simmer for 5 mins.

In a medium bowl add the rest of the water.

Add masa harina and mix well with mixer or blender.

Add the masa to the cinnamon pot.

Add mexican chocolate and mix well for 3 mins.

STEP 01
Add milk and sugar. Mix well.

STEP 01
Cook for 8 mins after it thickens cool it down. Serve.
