  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

  • 1/2 Dried Red Chilies
  • 0.13 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

  • STEP 1.Soak tamarind in water and extract the pulp.
  • STEP 2.Cook lentils with turmeric and salt until soft.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies. Add tamarind pulp, cooked lentils, and spices. Simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Serve hot with steamed rice or idli.
