  • 1/2 cup Rice Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1/4 Ajwain / Carom seeds
  • As required Salt
  • As required Water

How to Make Chakli Recipe

STEP 01

• in the pot take wheat flour.

STEP 02

• add rice flour and mix well.

STEP 03

• take the cooker and add water at the bottom. Transfer the flour into

• you can also transfer the pot into a steamer.

• cover the pot with clean cloth so that the water in the steamer

• close the lid and steam on medium heat for about 20 minutes.

• take the pot out and loosen the stiff flour.

• transfer the flour into a strainer and sieve it.

• add red chili powder, turmeric powder, white sesame seeds,

• mix well and add a little water at a time and knead thick dough.

• take wax paper and roll chakali on it.

• after rolling out chakali, seal both the ends really good so that it

• heat up oil in a pan. The oil should not be too hot.

• drop chakali into oil fry for about 5-6 minutes on low to medium

Heat.

• after frying for about 3-4 minutes from one side flip the chakli

• after another 3-4 minutes, when chakali settles at the bottom,

Take it out of oil.

• drain excess oil and transfer it into a dish.

• chakali is already.

• you can make 20-22 chakalis from 2 cups of wheat flour.
