Ingredients for Chakkakuru Mezhukupuratti Recipe

  • 2.50 cup Skinned and Chopped jackfruit seeds
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Kashmiri chilly powder
  • 1/2 cup Shallots

Directions: Chakkakuru Mezhukupuratti Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take a pressure cooker and add in 2 ½ cups of skinned and chopped jackfruit seeds, 1 cup of water and ¾ tsp of turmeric powder.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Grind 1 tbsp kahmiri chilly powder with ½ cup of shallots. Keep aside.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Set a pan, add 2 tbsp of oil, 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 sprig of curry leaves and the ground paste. Saute for a minute.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Transfer the cooked jackfruit seeds into the pan and cook in low flame for 5 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Turn off the flame after 5 minutes and the dish is ready.
