Fried rice with cauliflower, green pepper and flavoured with garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil is a recipe that originates from the Indian sub-continent and is basically a mix of cooked rice, nutritious stir-fried vegetables and some spices loaded with flavour and a tempting aroma. This dish can be served for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients for Cauliflower Fried Rice Recipe

  • 200 gram Cauliflower Florets
  • 200 gram Cooked Rice
  • 2 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 No.s Green pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • As required Coarse Black Pepper
  • As required Sesame oil A few drops
  • As required Salt

Directions: Cauliflower Fried Rice Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Place 200 gm cauliflower florets cut into bite size pieces in a food processor and process till fine.

step 2

  • STEP 1.In a wok heat 1 tbsp oil on high heat , add 2 cloves finely chopped garlic ,½ finely chopped green pepper, coarse black pepper to taste and stir fry for 10 seconds.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add the cauliflower from the food processor and stir fry for 2 minutes. Then add 200 gm cooked rice, 1 tbsp light soy sauce and stir fry for 2 more minutes. Break up any lumps of rice.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add a little sesame oil and give it a nice stir. Transfer to a serving dish.
