A simple and delicious stir fry of crunchy cauliflower and red pepper and flavoured with ginger garlic and chicken powder.Cauliflower and Red Bell Pepper Stir Fry is a quick and easy to make recipe, filled with nutrients and pretty colourful at the same time. Red bell peppers have the highest amount of Vitamin C, which boosts up the immune system and gives you a youthful skin. This quick stir fry with minimal oil and spices makes for a wonderful dish to accompany with Phulkas or parathas for kids lunch box.

Ingredients for Cauliflower And Red Pepper Stir Fry Recipe

  • 300 gram Cauliflower
  • 1 No.s Leng red pepper
  • 20 gram Coriander
  • 4 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 No.s Spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon Chicken powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoon Chilli sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cornflour
  • 30 milliliter Water
  • As required Salt

Directions: Cauliflower And Red Pepper Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a pan bring 1 ½ ltr water to a boil, add 1 tsp oil, salt to taste, 300 gm cauliflower florets cut into bite size pieces and boil for 1 minute. Then remove and drain.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 in a wok heat 2 tbsp oil, add 4 cloves roughly chopped garlic, 1 roughly chopped spring onion and stir fry for a few seconds.

  • STEP 3.3 add 1 long red pepper cut into bite size pieces and stir.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 then add the blanched cauliflower and stir.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 next add 1 tsp chicken powder, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 to 2 tbsp chilli sauce, salt to taste and stir fry for a few seconds.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 add 30 ml of water and continue to stir for 30 seconds.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 stir in a mixture of ½ tsp cornflour and 30 ml water, add 20 gm chopped coriander leaves and stir.

  • STEP 8.8 transfer to a dish and serve.
