Ingredients for Carrot peas curry Recipe

  • 0.17 cup Green peas
  • 1/4 cup Diced carrots
  • 0.67 Pieces Finely chopped onion
  • 0.67 Pieces Finely chopped tomato
  • 0.67 tsp Crushed ginger garlic
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 0.33 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 0.33 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.33 tsp Kitchen king masala
  • As Required Salt
  • 1 tbsp Fresh cream

Directions: Carrot Peas Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take a dry green peas soak for 2 hours and then take a 3 whistles. In a cooker first heat oil on medium flame.
  • STEP 2.Once oil is hot add cumin seeds , mustard seeds, chopped onion and crushed ginger garlic paste.
  • STEP 3.Once the onions turn brown add the chopped tomato. let it turn mushy.
  • STEP 4.Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Then add the diced carrots and boiled green peas. Pour water enough to just cover the veggies then pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  • STEP 6.Once done, let the pressure release completely. Now open the cooker and continue cooking on low flame. Then add the Kitchen king masala or garam masala powder and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Finally add fresh cream and bring to one last boil. Then the curry is ready. Serve with hot phulkas or hot rice.
