STEP 1.Rinse the dal and cook it in cooker for 3 whistle. Meanwhile cut carrots and cook it,cool the cooked carrots and grind it into a paste. Open the cooker add the cut tomatoes, green chili and half cup water. Allow it to cook for 5mnts in low heat. Now add turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt stir. Now add the grinded carrots, stir and further cook for 2-3 minutes,put off the heat. Take a small pan ,heat oil, add mustard seeds and Cummin seeds, when they crackle add it to the dal. Carrot Moong dal ready.
