How to Make Carrot Cauliflower Peas Sabji Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

In a preheated pan, add 1 tsp coconut oil, ½ tsp ajwain, 2 bay leaves torn, 2 inch cinnamon stick broken. Saute for a few seconds till aromas are released.

STEP 01

Then add ½ tsp turmeric, 2 cups cauliflower, 2 carrots cut into half inch pieces, 1 cup peas and salt to taste. Mix the vegetables so the salt gets well distributed. Then sprinkle water and cover the pan to steam cook it on low to medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir intermittently.

When vegetables are cooked yet still firm, sprinkle 1 tsp crushed black pepper, mix well and turn off the heat.
