Carrot Cauliflower Peas Sabji Recipe

An Indian Delecacy which is basically a mix veg made with carrots, peas, cauliflower along woth some flavourful and aromatic spices like cinnamon, ajwain, bay leaves, peppercoens, turmeric and is cooked in some coconut oil. You can enjoy this recime with indian flat bread or poori for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients for Carrot Cauliflower Peas Sabji Recipe

  • 2 cup Cauliflower Florets
  • 1/2 No.s Carrots, cut into inch pieces 2
  • 1 cup Peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain
  • 2 No.s Bay leaves
  • 2 stick Cinnamon pieces inch
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric

Directions: Carrot Cauliflower Peas Sabji Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a preheated pan, add 1 tsp coconut oil, ½ tsp ajwain, 2 bay leaves torn, 2 inch cinnamon stick broken. Saute for a few seconds till aromas are released.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Then add ½ tsp turmeric, 2 cups cauliflower, 2 carrots cut into half inch pieces, 1 cup peas and salt to taste. Mix the vegetables so the salt gets well distributed. Then sprinkle water and cover the pan to steam cook it on low to medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir intermittently.

  • STEP 1.When vegetables are cooked yet still firm, sprinkle 1 tsp crushed black pepper, mix well and turn off the heat.
