Carne Asada Fries Recipe

Recipe By Slurrp

Cheese, beef, pico de gallo, guacamole, jalapenos and sour cream top the Carne Asada Fries, making them the definition of completely loaded! Carne asada fries are a local dish that originated in San Diego and may be seen in restaurants throughout the American Southwest. Lolita’s (restaurant) is said to have the most famous ones! Carne asada fries are more of an American spin on traditional Mexican cuisine, so you won't find them on the menu at more traditional Mexican restaurants. Despite the Mexican twist, carne asada fries originated in California, and the secret to getting them exactly right is just nailing the steak. You may use almost any sort of steak for this recipe! Also, don't be scared to utilise a very inexpensive steak cut. However, keep in mind that the thinner the steak, the less time it takes to cook. All of the additional toppings and flavours will complement each other well, so you won't need to spend a fortune on meat to make these Carne Asada Fries shine.
