A smoothie is a drink made from pureed fruit or vegetable with milk , yogurt, cream etc blended together. The Cantaloupe also known as rock melon in Australia & New Zealand, sweet melon in South Africa is a variety of the musk melon. The Cantaloupe is a juicy,orange summer fruit which is rich in Vitamin A & C along with antioxidants. It is also contains minerals like copper, zinc and calcium. Like other fruit and vegetables, it has maximum water. This high amount of liquid gives cantaloupe a low glycemic score which means your body digests it slowly and it helps diabetics. Minerals in Cantaloupe helps to keep ourselves hydrated and full of energy. Here is a smoothie which is filling and healthy.

Ingredients for Cantaloupe Smoothie Recipe

  • 2 cup chopped or grated cantaloupe
  • 1 cup thick curd
  • 1 cup Milk
  • to taste Sweetner of your choice

Directions: Cantaloupe Smoothie Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Wash cantaloupe properly, cut, peel and remove seeds.
  • STEP 2.2. Add into blending jar.
  • STEP 3.3. Further add milk, curd and sweetener.
  • STEP 4.4. Blend it.
  • STEP 5.5. Chill it and serve.
  • STEP 6.Note:
  • STEP 7.1. Can add cream or ice cream too.
  • STEP 8.2. You can top up with seeds or nuts.
