Ingredients for Cameroonian Plantain Porridge Recipe

  • 4-5 Nos unripe plantains peeled and cut in halves
  • 1/2 cup to1 palm oil
  • 1 pound smoked fish and meat of choice
  • 1/2 cup Crayfish
  • 1 teaspoon Maggi Crevette or 2 bouillon powder
  • 2 tablespoon blended garlic and ginger optional
  • 1 habanero pepper optional
  • 1 teaspooon contri onions optional
  • As required Salt
  • 3-4 handfuls green leafy vegetable

Directions: Cameroonian Plantain Porridge Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Peel off the plantains. Add water in a cooking pot and bring it to boil. Then add the plantains.

step 2

  • STEP 1.After adding plantains add all the other ingredients except for vegetables.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Cook it for 30 mins or until the plantain is cooked.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add the vegetables and cook for 2 mins at low flame. Turn off the flame and serve.
