Ingredients for Caldo De Galina Recipe

  • 5.70 liter cold water
  • 1 No.s roasted chicken
  • 4 No.s Carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 No.s garlic cloves
  • 1 No.s leek
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 6 No.s yukon gold potatoes
  • 225 gram dried egg noodles
  • 2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoon fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • 1 cup red fresno chile
  • 10 piece fresh lemon quarters

Directions: Caldo De Galina Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. take hen, water, carrots, celery, garlic, leek and ginger in a pot.

step 2

  • STEP 1. boil it on high heat and then reduce the flame and simmer it for 5 hours.

step 3

  • STEP 1. once cooked take the hen out and let it cool.

step 4

  • STEP 1.shred it using forks.

step 5

  • STEP 1. add potatoes to the pan and bring it to boil and add egg noodles to it.

step 6

  • STEP 1. reduce the flame and cook for 10 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 1.add in the shredded hen and season with some salt.

step 8

  • STEP 1.top it with cilantro, chilI, chives and lemon.
