Ingredients for Cabbage pista spinach barfi Recipe

  • 1/2 Cups chopped cabbage
  • 0.13 Cup spinach puree
  • 0.13 Cup ghee
  • 1/4 Cup khoya
  • 0.13 Cup coarse powder of pista
  • 1/4 Cup milk
  • 0.13 Cup grated jaggery
  • 0.13 Cup honey
  • 1/2 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp Desicatted coconut
  • 1/4 Tsp cardamom powder

Directions: Cabbage Pista Spinach Barfi Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pan boil water ,to this boiling water add chopped cabbage ,give one boil to it,drain all water from it ,keep this cabbage aside
  • STEP 2.In a pan heat ghee,saute this par boiled cabbage for 5 minutes
  • STEP 3.Then add milk to it,stir on low flame till cabbage gets soft and milk gets absorbed
  • STEP 4.Then add jaggery to it ,stir it till jaggery melts
  • STEP 5.Now add khoya and mix all well for 5 minutes
  • STEP 6.Now add spinach puree to it
  • STEP 7.Stir till barfi begins to form a lump
  • STEP 8.Then add honey to it
  • STEP 9.Now stir till barfi begins to leave sides of pan
  • STEP 10.Now add pista powder,peanut butter, desicatted coconut,cardamom powder to it
  • STEP 11.Mix all well
  • STEP 12.Switch off the flame,tranfer this barfi to greased tray let it come to room temperature
  • STEP 13.Then set it in freeze for 1/2 hour.
  • STEP 14.Now put this barfi into a desired mould and unmould it,or cut it to a desired shape
  • STEP 15.Garnish it with desicatted coconut and grated pista
  • STEP 16.Serve it
