  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • STEP 2.Cut a butternut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Place the squash halves on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down.
  • STEP 3.Roast the squash in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the flesh is tender and easily pierced with a fork.
