STEP 1.For the buttermilk, whisk curd and add water gradually until you get a smooth mixture. Add salt and a coarse paste of 4 green chillies, 1 inch ginger and onions and keep it aside
Method
STEP 1.In a pan add 2 tbsp of oil, 1 tsp of chana dal, 1 tsp of black gram, 1 tsp of mustard seeds and ½ tsp of cumin seeds and let it splutter. This means your spices are hot to be worked with.
STEP 2.Stir them one more time before adding the pastes and powdered spices.
STEP 1.Add 1 dry red chili, prepared onion paste , curry leaves and mashed garlic cloves. Saute for about 5 minutes then add ½ tsp of turmeric powder and salt .
STEP 2.Now in a bowl add the buttermilk prepared and transfer the prepared tempering in the bowl. Combine everything completely and serve.
Serving
STEP 1.Serve delicious buttermilk rasam hot with steaming hot rice.

STEP 1.Store the mutta biscuits in an airtight container and at room temperature.
