Bored of Regular pooris and want to try some quick snacks when its pouring outside in the Monsoon. Want to use the best use of leftovers and monsoon time all snacks at home become soggy, so these Bujia stuffed pooris are crunchy, healthy and spicy and perfect combo with Tea/ Coffee in the Monsoon rains.

Ingredients for Bujia stuffed Pooris # Monsoon Recipe

  • 1/2 g For the dough
  • 1/2 cup Whole wheat atta
  • 1/2 tsp Flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp Kalonji
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 g Stuffing mix
  • 50 gms Bikano Bujia
  • 25 gms Grated apple
  • 2.50 Tsp Oil for deep frying

Directions: Bujia Stuffed Pooris # Monsoon Recipe

  • STEP 1.Knead the flour with water and flaxseed and kalonji thoroughly, make a stiff dough so that pooris are crispy. Divide the dough in 12 equal portions and keep it aside
  • STEP 2.Roll out one portion f the dough into a thin round/or heart shaped shape . Put one portion of the stuffing of Bikano Bujia and grated apple in the centre and bring the edges together to seal the edges and cover the stuffing completely.

  • STEP 3.Repeat with the remaining portions and fill the stuffing as needed.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the pooris. Fry till crispy and golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with Tea/ Coffee in a rainy Monsoon weekend to your guests or family members.
