  • 1/4 cup Buckwheat Flour
  • 0.13 cup Yogurt
  • 0.13 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green Chili Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.06 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix buckwheat flour, yogurt, and water to make a batter.
  • STEP 2.Add ginger paste, green chili paste, salt, and turmeric powder to the batter.
  • STEP 3.Grease a steamer plate and pour the batter into it. Steam for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Once cooked, cut the dhokla into pieces and garnish with coriander leaves and grated coconut.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

  • Make sure the batter is smooth and lump-free.
  • You can add grated vegetables like carrots or spinach to the batter for added nutrition.
  • To check if the dhokla is cooked, insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, it is ready.
