A very delicious dish for the vegans using broccoli.It is just a normal mezhukkupuratti with some usual flavours of onions and garlic. It is best when it served in half cooked form. But sometimes people are not pleasant of its half taste. In that crucial stage you can cook it fully. But whichever form is good for your health.

Ingredients for Brocoli Mezhukupuratti Recipe

  • 1/2 kilogram Chopped Broccoli
  • 8 No.s Chopped shallots
  • 9 Garlic pods
  • 2 No.s Sliced green chilly
  • 1/2 Pepper powder
  • As required Salt

Directions: Brocoli Mezhukupuratti Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.add chopped broccoli in water with a pinch of salt.

step 2

  • STEP 1.change water 2-3 times to completely remove the impurities off broccoli.

step 3

  • STEP 1.heat oil in a pan. Add 9 garlic podas and saute well.

step 4

  • STEP 1.then add 2 sliced green chilly and chopped shallots. Saute till shallots become transparent.

step 5

  • STEP 1.add in ¼ tsp of pepper powder and stir.

step 6

  • STEP 1.add ½ kg of chopped broccoli and saute for a minute.

step 7

  • STEP 1.cover the vessel and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 1.stir in between.

step 9

  • STEP 1.turn the heat to high flame and add in ¼ tsp of pepper powder and saute for a minute or two.

step 10

  • STEP 1.turn off the flame and serve the tasty broccoli dish.
