Ingredients for Bread cutlets Recipe

  • 1 nos Potatoes – (boiled & mashed)
  • 1/4 nos Carrot – (grated)
  • As required Beans – ΒΌ cup (finely chopped)
  • As required Green peas – ΒΌ cup (boiled)
  • 1/4 nos Onion – (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 nos Green chilies – (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger-garlic paste –
  • As required Red chili powder – Β½ tsp
  • As required Turmeric – ΒΌ tsp
  • As required Coriander powder – Β½ tsp
  • As required Garam Masala – Β½ tsp
  • As required Salt – as needed
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves – (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon Juice –
  • 1/2 cup Bread slices – (soaked & squeezed) OR Bread crumbs – Β½
  • 1/2 tbsp Cornflour/maida – (for slurry)
  • As required Bread crumbs – for coating
  • As required Oil – for frying

Directions: Bread Cutlets Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, add mashed potatoes, carrot, beans, peas, onion, green chilies, and ginger-garlic paste.Add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, coriander leaves, and lemon juice.Mix well and add soaked bread/bread crumbs to bind the mixture.
  • STEP 2.Take small portions and shape them into round or oval cutlets.
  • STEP 3.Make a thin slurry with cornflour/maida and water.Dip each cutlet in the slurry, then roll in bread crumbs for a crispy coating.
  • STEP 4.4.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.Alternatively, bake or air-fry for a healthier option.Serve hot with green chutney, tamarind chutney, or ketchup.
