  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 cup Water

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, and ginger-garlic paste. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 3.Add boiled chickpeas, salt, and water. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the curry thickens.
  • STEP 4.Toast or fry the bread slices until they turn crispy and golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Serve the chickpea curry with the bread slices. Garnish with chopped onions, coriander leaves, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
