Ingredients for Bread Cheese Balls Recipe

  • 1 No.s potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 No.s green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • 0.13 teaspoon cumin powder / jeera powder
  • 0.38 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 piece slice bread, white/brown
  • 5 No.s cubes cheese, cheddar/mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon maida / plain flour
  • 0.13 cup Water

Directions: Bread Cheese Balls Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add 2 potatoes.
  • STEP 2.Add 1 green chili chopped, ½ tsp of ginger paste, 2 tbsp of coriander, ¼ tsp pepper, 1 tsp mixed herbs, ¼ cumin powder and ½ tsp salt.
  • STEP 3.Cut the bread slices and add in the bowl to make a soft non-sticky dough. Keep aside.
  • STEP 4.Now take a ball sized dough and flatten slightly.
  • STEP 5.Place a cheese cube in the center.
  • STEP 6.Get the edges together and seal the cheese. Form a smooth ball.
  • STEP 7.Dip in the cornflour batter.
  • STEP 8.Cover in crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs uniformly.
  • STEP 9.Fry in hot oil or bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree celsius for 15-18 minutes.
  • STEP 10.Fry until bread cheese balls turn golden brown in appearance
  • STEP 11.Remove the balls from oil and drain the excess oil.
  • STEP 12.Serve on a plate and enjoy cheese balls with tomato ketchup.
