Ingredients for Brazilian Fish Stew Recipe

  • 500 gram white fish fillet
  • 3 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2.50 tablespoon olive oil
  • As required Black pepper
  • 2 No.s garlic cloves
  • 1 No.s small onion
  • 1 No.s red capsicum
  • 1.50 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 400 milliliter coconut milk
  • 400 milliliter canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup fish broth/stock
  • 3 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

step 1

  • STEP 1.in a bowl add chopped fish, lime juice, oil, salt and pepper.

step 2

  • STEP 1. mix it well and refrigerate for 20 minutes

step 3

  • STEP 1.after 20 minutes take out the marinated fish and cook in a non stick pan.

step 4

  • STEP 1. heat some oil in a pan and saute chopped onions, red capsicum, tomatoes, coconut milk, broth, sugar, paprika, cumin, cayenne, cooked fish. Cilantro, lemon juice and mix everything together.

step 5

  • STEP 1. simmer it for a few seconds and your fish stew is ready to be served.
