Ingredients for Braised Pork Belly In Soy Sauce Recipe

  • 1 pound pork belly
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 Nos garlic head
  • 1 tablespoon white peppercorn
  • 5 Nos hard boiled eggs
  • 8 ounce fried tofu/bean curd
  • 4 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • As required Salt

step 1

  • STEP 1.Cut pork belly into small pieces

step 2

  • STEP 2.Lightly pound the garlic

step 3

  • STEP 3.Crush the white peppercorn

step 4

  • STEP 1.add 4 cups of water in a pot and heat it

step 5

  • STEP 1.once the water starts boiling then add pork belly pieces,garlic and crushed peppercorns.

step 6

  • STEP 1.bring the mixture to a boil then add boiled eggs followed by fried tofu,soy sauce,sweet soy sauce and dark soy sauce.

step 7

  • STEP 1.reduce the flame to medium and braise the pork for 30 mins until pork belly becomes tender.

step 8

  • STEP 1.add salt as per taste and cook it at low flame for 15-20 mins.

step 9

  • STEP 1.now turn off the flame and serve with steamed rice.
