  • 1 tablespoon Neutral Oil
  • 2 piece ginger
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon shaoxing wine
  • 1.50 tablespoon light soy sauce

How to Make Braised Bamboo Shoots Recipe

STEP 01

Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a wok over medium heat, add the ginger, and cook for about 30 seconds. Turn down the heat and add rock sugar, allow it to dissolve completely.

STEP 02

Add bamboo and turn up the heat and stir and mix. Cook until edges of the bamboo start to brown slightly.

STEP 03

Now add shaoxing wine, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and water. Stir to combine.

STEP 04

Cook for about 10 minutes. Make sure fo reduce the liquid and add drops of oil before plating.

STEP 05

Serve it with some wine.
