Ingredients for Braised Bamboo Shoots Recipe

  • 450 gram bamboo shoots
  • 1 tablespoon Neutral Oil
  • 2 piece Ginger
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon shaoxing wine
  • 1.50 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1.50 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 cup Water

Directions: Braised Bamboo Shoots Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a wok over medium heat, add the ginger, and cook for about 30 seconds. Turn down the heat and add rock sugar, allow it to dissolve completely.
  • STEP 2.Add bamboo and turn up the heat and stir and mix. Cook until edges of the bamboo start to brown slightly.
  • STEP 3.Now add shaoxing wine, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and water. Stir to combine.
  • STEP 4.Cook for about 10 minutes. Make sure fo reduce the liquid and add drops of oil before plating.
  • STEP 5.Serve it with some wine.
