  • 0.33 tablespoon Oil
  • 0.17 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.08 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds

  • 0.17 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 3/4 Lic Cloves, Minced
  • 0.33 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 0.33 tablespoon Sambar Powder
  • 0.08 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.33 cup Water
  • 0.17 cup Sun Dried Vegetables

Directions: Brahmin Style Vathal Kuzhambu Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak tamarind in water and extract the pulp.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add onions, garlic, and tomatoes and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add sambar powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add the tamarind pulp and water. Cook until the curry thickens.
  • STEP 6.Add the sun-dried vegetables and cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with steamed rice.
