  • 1/4 cup Boondi
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Tomato Puree
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/4 cup Water

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and fry the boondi until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • STEP 2.In the same pan, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • STEP 4.Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Then, add the fried boondi and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

  • Make sure to fry the boondi until crispy to enhance the texture of the dish.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference by adding more or less chili powder.
