Ingredients for Boiled fish with bamboo shoots Recipe

  • 500 gram Fish
  • 15 Green Chillies
  • 1 Raja Mircha chopped
  • 2 tablespoon freshly grounded ginger garlic
  • 2 large Tomatoes roughly chopped
  • 150 gram Spinach roughly chopped
  • As required Salt
  • As required Water
  • As required A handful of chopped coriander leaves

Directions: Boiled Fish With Bamboo Shoots Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take the green chilies in a mortar and pestle and grind them coarsely.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Take a pan and add the fish, grounded green chilly, tomato, ginger garlic, raja mircha if using, salt to taste.

  • STEP 1.Give a good mix to it. Now add some water as per requirement.

  • STEP 1.Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 mins.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Spread the palak gently on the top and continue to cook. Check the salt and add if required at this point of time. Cook for about 5-10 mins or untill the water evaporates completely. Do not stir the fish.

  • STEP 1.Once it is cooked, leave the pan open. It is best when served the next day.
