STEP 1.Wash and soak black eye beans for one overnight Add these soaked beans in pressure cooker along with salt turmeric and two cup of water. Cook for 3 whistles. Take out and strain.
STEP 2.Now take a kadai add oil. Heat it and let crackle cumin seeds. Add cooked beans and all spices. Mix well.
STEP 3.Add 1 cup of water,Mash partially with help of back of spoon or a masher. Cook for 5 mins. Serve with roti and rice. Add chopped coriander leaves if available. Raw onion also goes well with black eye beans.
