Ingredients for Black chana curry Recipe

  • 50 gms Black chana
  • 1/5 Pieces Onion
  • 1/5 Pieces Tomato
  • 1/5 tsp ginger juliens
  • 0.40 Pieces Green chilly
  • 1/5 tbsp Corriander powder
  • 1/10 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/5 tsp chilly powder
  • 1/5 Inch Cinammon
  • 1 g Pepper .few
  • A Stalk Curry leaves
  • 1/5 tsp Mustard
  • 0.40 Pieces Whole red chilly
  • 1/5 g Coconut grated

Directions: Black Chana Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak chana for 6-8 hrs or overnight.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook adding salt and turmeric.
  • STEP 3.Heat a pan ..Add grated coconut,cinammon,pepper and fry till light golden brown.Simmer flame .Add corriander powder,chilly powder and mix.switch off gas and grind to a fine paste .
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard.when crackles add red chilly,green chilly and onion and saute till translucent.Add chopped tomatoes.add curry leaves.
  • STEP 5.Cook till well mashed.
  • STEP 6.Add the ground paste and saute
  • STEP 7.Now add the cooked chans to this and adjust the consistency of gravy.add ginger juliens
  • STEP 8.Gravy should be semi thick.
