Ingredients for Biulir Daal (urad daal) Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Urad daal
  • 1/4 tsp ginger chopped
  • 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
  • 0.13 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.13 tsp five spices (panch foron)
  • 1/4 nos Pinch asafoetida
  • 1/4 nos bay leaf
  • 1/4 nos dry red chilli
  • As required To taste salt and sugar
  • As required As needed oil

Directions: Biulir Daal (urad Daal) Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the daal for 30 mnts
  • STEP 2.Boil it in a pressure cooker along with salt and turmeric .
  • STEP 3.Now make a paste of ginger and fennel seeds.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf,dry red chill and hing.
  • STEP 5.Saute the ginger fennel seeds paste along with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 6.Mix the boiled dal ,allow it to cook ,mix sugar and remove.
  • STEP 7.Serve it with steamed rice and aloo posto.
