Ingredients for Biryani Gravy Recipe

  • 7 No.s Brinjal
  • 2 No.s Onion
  • 2 No.s Tomato
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 50 gram Groundnut
  • 50 milliliter Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Urad dal
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fenugreek
  • 1 tablespoon Black peppercorns
  • 20 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • As required Curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 10 No.s Cashew nuts
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1.50 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • As required Tamarind

Directions: Biryani Gravy Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Wash and cut brinjal partially from the top.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cut onion and tomato

step 3

  • STEP 3.Roast sesame and groundnut for 3 mins.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Add 50 ml water in a jar and grind sesame, groundnut and make a fine paste.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Soak tamarind in 100 ml water

  • STEP 6.1.add 50 ml sesame oil and heat it.

step 8

  • STEP 7.2.then add sliced brinjal and fry it for 10 mins on medium flame.

step 9

  • STEP 8.3.using the same oil,add mustard seeds,urad dal, fenugreek seeds.

  • STEP 9.4.now add black peppercorns,garlic cloves,curry leaves and cook for a min.

step 11

  • STEP 10.5.add sliced onions,½ tbsp salt and cook for 3 mins.

step 12

  • STEP 11.6.add cashew nuts,ginger paste,sliced tomato,½ tbsp salt and cook for 2 mins.

step 13

  • STEP 12.7.then add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coriander powder,fried brinjals and cook for a min.

step 14

  • STEP 13.8.add tamarind water and cook for 5 mins on high flame.

step 15

  • STEP 14.9.add grinded paste,1 glass water and cook for 5-7 mins on high flame.

step 16

  • STEP 15.10.add coriander leaves.
